With over 31 U.S. locations, easyvet clinics have become a popular choice for convenient, affordable veterinary services.

From Utah to Texas to Florida, easyvet locations are spread out over 10 states and dozens of cities. The brand’s growth so far is undeniable, and George Armour Ewart Architect is honored to play an important role in the development and success of locations across the country.

Design Architect for a Growing Franchise

easyvet is more than a pet care brand for customers and veterinarians – it’s also a franchise opportunity for entrepreneurs. But with any franchise, comes the need for a multi-location plan for the design and development of the physical structure.

Every franchise is an opportunity to create a brand identity that stands out and attracts new interest, and then replicate that identity in multiple markets. No matter where they’re located, franchise locations need to carry a consistent look and feel. easyvet came to Ewart’s firm with this in mind.

Rapid Development on a National Scale

A Knoxville-based company, easyvet’s growth has skyrocketed over the past nine years. With this growth came the need for rapid development of successful franchise locations nationwide. The team at George Armour Ewart Architect stepped in as the brand’s exclusive architecture and design firm.

While easyvet worked on its goal of improving pet care for families and supporting veterinarians in their careers, our firm began designing the model for a prototype that could be easily replicated across the country. This prototype included interior and exterior design plans, as well as projected build costs for any new locations.

Along with stand-alone spaces, part of our ongoing partnership with easyvet includes developing specialized floor plans for clinics located in PetSmart stores across the country.

Design Plans, Floor Plans, & Growth Plans:
We’re Here to Help with It All

A typical easyvet location consists of a lobby, bloodwork station, lab area, exam rooms, an x-ray room, break/utility area, and restroom. These locations vary in size from 1100 square-feet for smaller, compact spaces to 2400 square-feet for larger spaces.

For the interior, it’s extremely important to use durable, cleanable materials for a brand like easyvet, whose staff and furry guests are always on the move. To meet this need, we implemented non-porous, scratch-resistant vinyl flooring to create a luxury tile look that won’t succumb to daily wear and tear as easily as other materials. We also utilized dimmable LED lighting and consistent brand signage to create flexible, yet recognizable spaces in different areas throughout each clinic.

From the colors and patterns chosen to the materials and signage used, every easyvet detail is carefully selected by our team of architectural and design experts. Together with the brand’s team and individual franchisees, we’re able to create clean, modern spaces that cater to each person and pet patient that walks through their doors.

Our team is excited to explore new opportunities alongside this growing brand, including an easyvetplus concept that incorporates additional areas for surgeries, dental work, and other in-house procedures. In addition to expanding their service model, this concept will help easyvet reach even more pet owners and animals in need… and we can’t wait to be a part of it!
